As reported by El País, the report in question recommends that the packaging of new cell phones have labels where consumers are alerted to the main health risks, as well as the possible impacts on the development of younger people.
The nearly 250-page report includes a total of 107 recommended measures for the Spanish government to deal with what the committee considers a “public health epidemic.”
In addition to this label on cell phone packaging, the committee advises that children under three years of age should not be exposed to mobile devices and advises against using them for up to six years.
