According to sources from the City Council, a 35-year-old woman suffered a man-of-war sting, which has not caused any major problems.

After the incident, another specimen of the same species has been located in the waters of San Sebastian.

These specimens have been noticed in recent weeks, causing more than one sting on the beaches.

On July 17, four specimens were found and one sting was also recorded. Other places where man-of-wars have appeared have been Santa Clara Island, Zurriola Beach and Pico del Loro.
