This information was given at a press conference by the Minister of Tourism, Jaume Bauzá. News from Hosteltur indicates that Mallorca will receive the majority of these funds, with an allocation of €229 M, which represents 63.35% of the total. In second place, Ibiza will get €67.5 million (18.66%), followed by Menorca with €53.7 million (14.85%) and Formentera with €11.3 million (3.14%). The same source also says that the distribution of resources responds to the needs of each island in terms of sustainability, as well as the specific projects presented by the different island and municipal councils.

The same Spanish newspaper also states that, with an investment of 247.2 million euros for 34 projects, environmental initiatives and water cycle management are the central pillar, whose projects aim to improve the sustainability of supply and sanitation infrastructures, modernize water supply systems for human consumption and optimize the energy efficiency of these facilities. This effort responds to the Balearic government's objective of preserving water resources and protecting the natural environment across the islands.

However, says Hosteltur, another of the main objectives of ITS is to promote demand outside of high season, encouraging the creation of sustainable and attractive tourist products and activities. To this end, 23 more projects were approved with investment exceeding R$67 million in total, which include activities linked to culture and sport, aimed at increasing tourist attraction in the months of low occupancy and reducing dependence on the summer season. Furthermore, funds will be dedicated to controlling illegal supply, in an effort to ensure that tourism in the Balearic Islands maintains high standards of quality and legality.
