All indications point to it being Jay Slater, who has been missing for 29 days, and that he could have died due to an accidental fall in the steep and inaccessible area where he was found, according to the Civil Guard.

The police have highlighted the "incessant and constant search" carried out by the different units of the Civil Guard, which have not stopped searching for the young man every day in the Masca area, until this Monday the GREIM agents, specialists in the mountains, found the lifeless body of the young man in a very inaccessible area.

The authorities are now waiting for the results of the autopsy to confirm that it is an accident, the Civil Guard says.
