Despite the weather and the fact that the island is working to return to normal, the volcano has once again activated the Peinpal protocol in some places in Puerto Naos, as a result of specific peaks in gas measurements.

Due to these peaks, the Emergency Services have been mobilised and remain in the area, which has measurement sensors.

So far, it has not been necessary to evacuate the population, since the problem of gases has been solved by ventilating the affected spaces. In addition, the figures recorded do not pose a risk to people, as figures that could even be considered normal in places without ventilation have been found at any other point other than those affected by the volcanic eruption.
